Who is responsible and how to contact us
This notice describes personal data used through alkifronhotel.com by Alkifron Hotel in Kala Nera, Pelion, 37010, Greece. For privacy requests contact aspa@alkifronhotel.com or +30 6970464561.
Information we use and why
- Enquiries: the contact form asks for your name, email, telephone, subject and message. The website records technical information such as IP address and browser information. We use these details to answer your request, make arrangements you ask for and protect the form against abuse. The legal bases are steps requested before a contract and our legitimate interests in handling correspondence and maintaining security.
- Bookings and check-in: the booking button currently links to alkifronhotel.reserve-online.net (WebHotelier), and online check-in to e-checkin.alkifronhotel.com. Those services have their own forms and notices. Booking, guest and payment information needed for your stay is handled to perform the accommodation contract and meet applicable legal duties. Do not send card numbers, passwords or identity documents through the general contact form or chat.
- Chat: if you use the Steganomos chat widget, your messages and associated technical information are used to handle the conversation. Avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
- Website operation: hosting, server logs, session and security functions support delivery of the website and prevention of misuse. We rely on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable service.
- Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics 4, server-side Google Tag Manager at data.alkifronhotel.com and Google Ads conversion measurement help us understand visits and actions such as contact-form completion. Analytics and advertising storage are controlled through the cookie banner. Consent is the basis for optional cookies and related measurement. Google Consent Mode also communicates consent status and may send limited cookieless signals when storage is denied; declining is not a promise of zero network traffic. GA4 event/user data retention is configured to 14 months and Google Signals is disabled.
After you accept, when you submit the contact form your email address and, if given, phone number are sent to Google Ads in hashed (SHA-256) form to measure the enquiry as a conversion (enhanced conversions). This does not happen if you decline.
Who receives information
Authorised hotel personnel and technical support providers may handle information for the purposes above. The website uses rapidbounce and Steganomos services, Google Cloud hosting, Mailgun email delivery, Google analytics/tagging/advertising and reCAPTCHA security services. Contact requests are delivered to the hotel and its technical support team. The site also loads Adobe-hosted fonts and can display Google Maps; loading these resources discloses network information, including your IP address, to the relevant provider. Following a booking, check-in or external social link takes you to the provider's service and privacy terms.
Retention and international processing
Correspondence and operational records are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, provide the stay, meet legal record-keeping duties or deal with claims. The retention of a booking record is different from the lifetime of a browser cookie. GA4's 14-month setting concerns event/user data; it does not set the lifetime of all cookies or aggregated reports. You can ask us about the retention applicable to a particular record.
Some providers operate internationally and information may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers need an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for details of the providers and safeguards relevant to your request.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object where applicable. You may withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer, without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate identity verification to handle a request. You may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. Refusing optional cookies does not prevent contacting the hotel or requesting a booking.
See the Cookie Policy for browser storage and controls. We will update this notice when the website's processing changes.
