We spent six days with Aspa at the Alkifron Hotel in Kala Nera, Pelion, Greece - and they were six truly beautiful, special days.
We chose this specific hotel after Wife found countless positive reviews about the rooms, the property, and - above all - the owner, Aspa.
We visited in August 2026; it is a lovely, intimate hotel - with around 15 rooms -featuring a very inviting courtyard.
The rooms are named after Greek mythological Gods. We stayed in the room named after the goddess of erotic love; it was beautiful, stylish, spacious, and practical. It was located on the second floor (I’d recommend booking a second-floor room).
Aspa is a truly special person; she is a host who pours her heart into everything she does. Her breakfasts are wonderful and incredibly creative. Every morning, she served us a completely different breakfast featuring a wide variety of ingredients.
She told me that her grandmother was a professional chef and her mother (who helps manage the hotel) is also a great cook; Aspa herself even went to culinary school to further
hone her skills.
It is easy to see that she doesn't do this just for the money; she does everything with love, a smile, and genuine goodwill.
When we arrived, a shutter hinge was creaking slightly - but within minutes, it had already been fixed. When we left, her card payment machine wasn't working. She told us, "Don't worry about it; just go on your way and pay me tomorrow." And that’s exactly what happened.
We fell in love with Cala-Nara, we fell in love with the hotel, and - especially - we fell in love with Asfa; we will definitely be back to see her.

We stayed at the Alkifron Hotel in Kala Nera, on the Pelion Peninsula, for six nights. It was the best hotel we have ever visited in Greece. Everything was perfect. The property is top-notch in every respect: beauty, cleanliness, comfort, hospitality, service and location. The breakfast was among the most amazing we have ever had during our travels around the world: Aspa, the hotel owner and a highly skilled chef, generously spoiled us every morning with special, delicious dishes. Everything was served with care, a smile, and the highest level of service imaginable. We would undoubtedly love to stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to everyone we know.

Wonderful little hotel, 5 minute walk from the beach. Very nice rooms, clean and spacious, cute balconies perfect for morning coffee and breakfast. The staff is amazing, super kind and welcoming. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to everyone thinking of coming to Pelion
