Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small browser records. This site also uses localStorage for your consent choice and sessionStorage for interface state. The following describes the current site, including its Google Consent Mode integration.

• Essential security and session functions: Django's csrftoken protects forms; sessionid supports a browsing session and language/interface state when required. These are not advertising cookies. Their expiry is set by the server and shown in your browser's storage tools.
• Your choice: alkifron_consent in localStorage records granted or denied. It has no automatic expiry in the current implementation and remains until you change it or clear site storage. popState in sessionStorage can remember a dismissed offer during that tab's session.
• Optional Google measurement: after acceptance, GA4 cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and advertising/conversion storage such as _gcl_* may be used according to the tags and interactions involved. The FPLC cookie is set by data.alkifronhotel.com, the first-party server measurement endpoint, only after acceptance. Their browser lifetimes follow the provider configuration and are separate from GA4's configured 14-month event/user retention. Google Signals is disabled.

Accept, decline or change your mind

The initial storage settings for analytics and advertising are denied. Accept grants the four Google Consent Mode settings for analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation. Decline keeps them denied. Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time to reopen the same banner and choose again.

Declining or withdrawing consent updates future consent signals. It does not necessarily delete cookies previously written by a provider. You can remove existing cookies and local storage through your browser's site settings; clearing the consent record makes the banner appear again. Refusing optional storage does not disable essential security functions.

Network requests and external services

Tag Manager and measurement use data.alkifronhotel.com. With denied storage, Consent Mode can still communicate consent status and limited cookieless measurement signals, so refusal is not a guarantee of no requests. Fonts, maps, reCAPTCHA, the Steganomos chat widget and linked booking/check-in services can involve requests to their providers. Their processing is described in the Privacy Policy. This banner controls Google analytics/advertising consent; it is not a claim that every external resource is blocked until acceptance.
