The Joy of Having No Plans

27/5/2026

There are days on holiday when almost nothing happens.

And perhaps those are the best ones after all.

You wake up slowly.

Your coffee gets a little cold because there is no rush to finish it.

You stay on the balcony a little longer.

You say “I’ll get up in a minute” and another half hour passes.

There is nothing you need to catch up with.

No obligations.

No pressure.

Just the quiet feeling of the day passing gently.

And somewhere in between, people begin to truly rest.

Not when they fill every hour of the day.

But when they finally stop trying to.
