Sometimes You Do Not Need More

We live in a time that constantly tells us we need more.

More things.

More choices.

More experiences.

More speed.

And somewhere in the middle of all this, we begin to believe that rest also needs to be “more”.

More complete.

More impressive.

More perfect.

And yet, sometimes what is missing is not more.

It is something simpler.

A deep night of sleep.

A slow morning.

A coffee without rushing.

A day that does not pressure you to do anything.

I see it often here.

People arrive exhausted, thinking they need a thousand different things to feel better.

And in the end, they relax through small, quiet moments that almost go unnoticed.

Perhaps rest is not found in excess after all.

Perhaps it begins where the weight of unnecessary things slowly starts to disappear.
